SNAIL OF APPROVAL
The Slow Food Snail of Approval award is a recognition given to food and beverage establishments that are pursuing and practicing Slow Food values in their business. This is more than about making good food — it’s about making commitments to the environment, local communities, employees and purveyors, and our core values of antiracism and anti-oppression.
The Snail of Approval award is given by local chapters based on evaluations focused on the following six areas: sourcing, environmental impact, cultural connection, community involvement, staff support, and business values.
COOKS' ALLIANCE
The Slow Food Cooks’ Alliance is a network uniting cooks across the country to support local producers, influence policy and awaken eaters to the rich food cultures and biodiversity of our planet.
PLANT A SEED
The Plant a Seed campaign invites school garden educators and individuals to bring biodiversity, flavor and history into their gardens. Each year, we put together a cast of endangered and biodiverse seeds that tell a story. These seed varieties come from a unique grower and landscape, and tell a story of plants and people. The Plant a Seed campaign opens a door to understand the importance of biodiversity and issues of food sovereignty through the cultivation and journey of seeds.
Why Love Nature
Your customers just learned what services you offer. Tell them why they should work with you or your team, for example you could highlight your experience and positive client reviews.
The badges illustrate this. We also focus on key benefits they will get while using our services, namely quick turnaround times and dedicated support. You could also use them to show awards you won for your best work.
